1.Unless otherwise agreed, the API 5L X65 end faces of plain-end pipe with t≤3.2mm (0.125 in) shall be square cut.

2.Unless otherwise agreed, the API X65 end faces of plain-end with t＞3.2mm (0.125 in) shall be beveled for welding.

3.If agreed, API 5L X65 other bevel preparations may be furnished.

4.For the removal of an internal burr on welded API 5L X65 pipe D＞114.3mm (4.500 in), the internal taper as measured from the longitudinal axis, shall be no greater than 7.0°
