16Mo3 steel plate is a kind of low alloy heat-resistant steel of Cr-Mo series. 1. Thermal cycling is not allowed to be interrupted in welding of 16Mo3 steel plate, and the interlaminar temperature in welding process should not be lower than preheating temperature.

2. In the 16Mo3 steel plate welding process, two welders should be arranged to weld symmetrically at the same time, at the same speed and with the same parameters, so as to reduce the welding deformation.

3. Adopt multi-layer and multi-pass 16Mo3 steel plate welding process, and apply grinding wheel, chisel and wire brush to clean welding slag, slag and oxide between welding pipe and welding layer. No arc closing shall be performed at the corner for all 16Mo3 steel plate welding joints; all weld joints shall be misaligned 50mm.
